草津温泉くさつおんせんの楽たのしみ方かた

草津温泉くさつおんせんは、群馬県ぐんまけんにある有名ゆうめいな温泉地おんせんちです。町まちの中心ちゅうしんには、「湯畑ゆばたけ」という大おおきな場所ばしょがあります。湯畑ゆばたけでは、地下ちかから出でた熱あつい温泉おんせんが、木きで作つくられた何本なんぼんもの道みちを流ながれています。白しろい湯気ゆげが上あがる景色けしきは、草津温泉くさつおんせんのシンボルです。

Kusatsu Onsen is a famous hot spring town in Gunma Prefecture. In the center of town is a large place called the Yubatake. There, hot spring water rising from underground flows through many wooden channels. The sight of white steam rising is the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen.

草津温泉くさつおんせんのお湯ゆはとても熱あついため、昔むかしから「湯ゆもみ」という方法ほうほうが使つかわれてきました。長ながい木きの板いたでお湯ゆをかき混まぜ、水みずを入いれないで温度おんどを下さげます。今いまは、湯畑ゆばたけの近ちかくにある「熱乃湯ねつのゆ」で、湯ゆもみのショーを見みることができます。

Because Kusatsu’s water is very hot, a method called yumomi has been used since long ago. The water is stirred with long wooden paddles to lower its temperature without adding cold water. Today, you can watch a yumomi show at Netsunoyu near the Yubatake.

温泉おんせんに入はいるだけでなく、温泉街おんせんがいを歩あるいたり、温泉おんせんまんじゅうを食たべたりするのも楽たのしいです。夜よるには湯畑ゆばたけがライトアップされ、昼ひるとは違ちがう美うつくしい景色けしきを楽たのしめます。

Besides bathing in the hot springs, it is also fun to walk through the onsen town and eat onsen manjū. At night, the Yubatake is illuminated, revealing a beautiful view that is different from the daytime.
