部屋へやの真まん中なかには、低ひくい木きのテーブルがあります。テーブルの上うえにはお盆ぼんがあって、その上うえに急須きゅうすと二ふたつの湯ゆのみが置おいてあります。テーブルの左ひだりと右みぎには、青あおい座布団ざぶとんが一枚いちまいずつあります。

左ひだりの奥おくには、床とこの間まがあります。壁かべには掛かけ軸じくがかかっています。掛かけ軸じくには、山やまと川かわの絵えが描えがいてあります。その下したには花かびんが置おいてあって、白しろい花はなや黄色きいろい花はなが飾かざってあります。

部屋へやの奥おくには、押おし入いれがあります。ふすまが開あいているので、中なかに畳たたんだ布団ふとんと枕まくらが見みえます。夜よるは畳たたみの上うえに布団ふとんを敷しいて寝ねます。

There is a closet at the back of the room. Its sliding door is open, so we can see folded futon bedding and a pillow inside. At night, people lay out futons on the tatami mats and sleep on them.

右側みぎがわには、障子しょうじがあります。障子しょうじが開あいていて、外そとに庭にわが見みえます。庭にわには、緑みどりの木きと大おおきな石いしがあります。外そとから日ひの光ひかりが入はいっています。

On the right, there are paper sliding screens. They are open, and we can see a garden outside. There is a green tree and a large stone in the garden. Sunlight comes in from outside.

部屋へやにはだれもいません。明あかるくて、きれいな部屋へやです。

There is no one in the room. It is bright and clean.
